Insurance intermediation activity

BS Assicurazioni operates as a non-tied insurance intermediary within the meaning of art. 40 ff. of the Federal Act on the Supervision of Insurance Companies (Insurance Supervision Act, ISA — LSA/VAG, SR 961.01). Non-tied intermediaries have a relationship of trust with the policyholder and act in the policyholder's interest; they are entered in the public register kept by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), which can be consulted at finma.ch. Simone Berta is entered in the public register of insurance intermediaries maintained by FINMA under number F01508893.

In accordance with art. 45 ISA we inform you, before every contract is concluded, of our identity and address, of the non-tied nature of our activity, of how you can obtain information about our training and continuing professional development, of who is liable in the event of negligence or error, and of how your personal data is processed.

In accordance with art. 45b ISA we disclose the nature and amount of the remuneration we receive from insurance companies or third parties in connection with our intermediation activity.

Professional indemnity insurance

Our activity is covered by professional indemnity insurance for financial loss in accordance with art. 189 of the Supervision Ordinance (SO), with a sum insured of at least two million francs for all claims in any one year.

Mediation body

In the event of a dispute you may turn free of charge to the Ombudsman of Private Insurance and Suva (versicherungsombudsman.ch) or, for social health insurance, to the Health Insurance Ombudsman (ombudsman-kv.ch).
